Drivers Issues on Windang Road

With regards to Windang Road, it's not the street itself that is the issue it's the drivers. That is the agreement from remarks on the Mercury's Facebook page about the news that the administration was investigating security measures for the street after a spate of mischances.

Kate Pallone concurred and she said she had individual experience of the issues on that extend of street. "I live on Windang Road and put my marker on and begin backing off ages before my carport and almost dependably have an auto accelerate behind me and about bringing on a mishap," she composed.  "Simply at the beginning of today I was doing the 80km speed restrict and had various autos fly past me."

Diane Beck has seen similar issues for individuals attempting to get in and out of their garages. "There have been various close misses for inhabitants attempting to get in their carports due to the speeders down the left paths," she composed.

A few people need to see an expanded police nearness along Windang Road, while one peruser made the recommendation of acquainting a point-with point speed camera from the Primbee exit to the Windang Bridge.

For Glenn Miller, a few speed cameras would tackle the issue and make individuals back off. "I have driven along the street and sat on 80km and had drivers surpass me like I was stopping - from P platers upwards," he said.

Nikki Gallagher had a more cynical view, feeling wellbeing measures wouldn't do much to change the conduct of some street clients. "Cameras and wellbeing wall won't do jack," she said.
